Cow College:  Using Genomic Testing to Improve Herd Health & Premium Beef Programs

UW-Extension Dairy Genetics Specialist Kent Weigel will discuss what we have learned about genomic testing in just the last few years to help improve dairy herd genetics and management.

UW-Extension Dairy Management Specialist Victor Cabrera will share economic analysis of cross-breeding low potential heifers and low producing dairy cows to beef bulls with superior carcass traits as an option for adding value to your bottom line.
